Prof. Koloman Ivanička, M.Sc., PhD. (1954 – 2013) absolved higher education in department of Economic Cybernetics at the Moscow Institute of Management. He taught at the University of Economics in Bratislava, Faculty of Economics and Management of industries, and since 1990 on the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. By his work as eminent scientist and teacher, particularly on the issue of the economics and real estate management and top management he also contributed to the development of university education and Slovak science, education and the formation of generations of engineers working at important positions around the world and education of more than twenty successful PhD. students.
